Meet Jaclyn Richard

Host · Storyteller · Rochester Community Connector

The Story Behind the Show

Jaclyn Richard was conceived in Brooklyn and born in Rochester, NY — carrying the borough's grit, wit, and unshakable belief that every person has a story worth telling. She grew up in a city full of those same people: entrepreneurs, artists, advocates, and civic leaders quietly building something remarkable.

So she built a microphone around them.

I've Got a Little Brooklyn in Me launched as a way to pull those stories out of the background and into the light — one conversation at a time. Each episode is a long-form sit-down with someone who's shaping Rochester's culture, economy, or community. No fluff. No filters. Just real people doing real work.

"Rochester is full of people doing extraordinary things quietly. My job is to make sure the rest of the city — and the world — hears about it."

— Jaclyn Richard
